On tap at the brewery. Pours a clouded orange amber with a white hit. Tons of pine aroma, bordering on spruce due to its heft, leading into grapefruit. Flavor is a bit more even between the grapefruit and the sticky pine. Very nice. So much pine!

On tap at the brewery. Pours dark brown to black with a light tan head. I get lots of very clear brown sugar and molasses on the aroma. Roasty coffee and dark cocoa in the flavor, with a bit of a bourbon brown sugar tone. Medium light palate. Pretty tasty.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy gold with a white head. Light spice aroma suggesting coriander and hinting at cinnamon. Coriander dominant in the flavor as well, some pale maltiness. No trace of any fruit. It’s nice, though pretty simple and light.

Draft - Lightly soured malts and bacon with smoke. Hazy copper with a decent white head. Light bacon and smoke with a bit of bitterness and a long smokey finish. Smoky and nice.

Draft - Espresso and a little vanilla. Jet black with a decent brown head. Bourbon notes, light espresso and a coffee finish. The bourbon mellows vs. overpowers. Not sure that this is better than the original.

Draft - Lots of fleshy grapefruit and nice sweetness. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Well balanced grapefruit and sweetness, with a long bitterness. Grapefruit is king and it is well done.
