On tap at MBGSF 2014. Black pour with a light tan head. Aromas of bourbon, cocoa, and brown sugar. Flavors of brown sugar, cocoa, oak and bourbon, and smokiness. Very tasty, very good collaboration on both sides.

On tap at the brewery’s 2nd Anniversary party. Pours a cloudy deep amber gold with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a combination of pine and grass with a strong sweet grain backbone. Flavor has grass and pine notes up front with a growing sweet grain note and a bit of earthy cookie.

On tap at the brewery’s 2nd anniversary party. Pours black with some dark brown bubble at the edges that dissipates quickly. Aroma has a combination of dark chocolate, dark grains and tart cherries with a hint of bourbon underlying. Flavor starts with tart cherries and dark chocolate that grows in bitterness and is joined by bitter roasted malts.

On tap at the brewery for their 2nd Anniversary. Pours a cloudy dark brown with a tan head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has notes of sweet grains, light chipotle, bread and a sweet bourbon note. Flavor has sweet grains and cookie upfront with a bit of sweet bourbon that mellow to allow bread and some chili to come through in the finish.
