No head; hazy peach-coloured beer. Mineral, lactic acid, lemon, citrus. Sweetish-sour; bone-dry, but again a bit weyish (as the IPA), faint mineral from the nose repeated. Marked dry-out effect, light carbonation and ditto body. Definitely citrussy, but I wouldn’t have hazarded grapefruit. Far from bad! Thanks to M. & L. V.!

No head or carbonation left; red-ochre beer. Grapefruit, milkwey, babymilk, exotic fruit, mild. Wry-bitterish taste, woody, grapefruitpeel, walnut peel. Not very lively [tasted in less than ideal circumstances], medium bodied at best. Good IPA Thanks to Louis and Mathieu!

Thanks to ElManana+1! 32 oz. growler sampled @ “Tim’s orgasmic Trillium tasting”. Light golden, small white head. Nose is sweetish pine resin, caramel, orange, some sweetish butter. Taste is buttery pine resin, oily, caramel, touch butterscotch, malt, USA hops & some sugar. Body is lower carbonation & some butter. Okay beer, touch too sweetish & buttery for me.

Taste: bitter, fruity, bit sweet, citrus, resinous touch. Aftertaste: very bitter, citrus, mango, fruity, pineapple, bitter, resinous notes.

On tap at One Eyed Betty’s in Ferndale. Pours black with an off-white head. Lots of coffee in the aroma, chocolate. Flavor again lots of coffee, bittersweet chocolate, molasses, and cream/malted milk ball. Clean palate. Showcases the coffee flavor well.

Bottle thanks to Brian. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong vanilla, roast, cocoa. Medium mouth, roast, dark chocolate, vanilla bean, bourbon, lingering bitterness, very nice.

Re-rate 4/18/2021 from a 12 oz can. Pours a lightly hazed yellow with a white head. Yeasty green grape/pear pale malt aroma. Similarly yeasty flavor, green grape and pear. Not too sweet. Palate is full, but still has a nice lightness to it. Very good.
Original rating 2015: Growler pour from the brewery. Pours a slightly hazy deep golden with a white head. Yeasty clove and bubble gum aroma, green grape. Flavor is similar, but kind of on the light side for a tripel.

Growler pour. Pours a murky brown with an off-white head. Heavy sticky caramel aroma. Toasty malt and caramel flavors, some grape and peated malt. Pretty nice.
