Poured from an undated can into a chalice glass
Pours a transparent gold with a about a quarter finger of white head that settles rather quickly leaving a thin cover. A little sticky lace resides.
Aroma is light peppery spice, banana and citrus. Light malt aroma as well
Taste is banana and light citrus, moves into a bit of semi sweet grainy malt and hints at peppery spice with some alcohol notes coming in the end.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a lighter carbonation than expected. Fairly smooth, definitely a sipper. On the sweet side without being cloying
Overall it's rather simple, which can be good but I was hoping for a bit more complexion. It also has a bit lower carbonation than expected. I'd try this again if it was dated. I would guess my can is on the older side but I'd expect this beer to hold up well over time. Reading the other reviews I wonder if they rework the recipe on this one? It's enjoyable enough but I'd reach for Allagash Tripel and definitely a true Trappist Tripel first.

Aromas are dark malt, roast, vanilla, small amounts of toffee and molasses. Flavors are similar to nose and even better. Just right body, carbonation balance between bitter and sweet. Very good drinking. This is just good stuff.

Pours a hazy, pineapple juice color, with minimal head. Aroma is floral, with some citrus and tropical fruit, but kind of smells like a cleaning solution. Flavors are citrus and tropical fruit, some breadiness. Mouthfeel is way too thin for the style. Mild hop bitterness in the finish.

50cl bottle. Clear copper. Ode to malt. Boiled maris otter. Treacle and sweet tea. Flavor has toast and all the malts. Sweet, hot even, but still pretty good.

Can from CBC Liquors, Westford. Cloudy yellow, light sparkle, thin head with fair retention, nice lacing. Aroma is strong citrus, apricot, pineapple. Taste mirrors aroma, hint of late biscuit. Smooth, thick, frothy texture, medium bodied, soft carbonation and juicy finish as taste. A little bit different--nice.
