16 oz. can from Total Wine. Pours a hazy light gold color with a white head and good retention. Streaming bubbles. A few spots of lacing. Standard pale malt aroma. Classic pale malt flavor with some light bread in the finish. Lightly sweet. Crisp mouthfeel. Super clean and smooth. Medium body. A really well done lager. Not grainy or bitter.

16 oz. can from ABC. Pours a crystal clear dark bronze color with a thick khaki head and great retention. Great lacing. Caramel malt aroma. Malty and slightly sweet toasted caramel flavor. Super clean and smooth. The 6.0% ABV and 35 IBU are both invisible. Medium body. Low carbonation. Another great Oktoberfest beer.

A Texas brewery. All Texas raters so far, cool by me. 12 oz can given to me for my birthday, always appreciated. Blonde ales, never really bad, certainly never great, I have my appreciation. I have out a Belgian snifter out for a previous tasting, why not? I see an appropriate, opaque, yellow liquid with a pure white, think skim of totally white, small bubbles. The smell is sweet corn in abundance, little to it than that. The taste is basic, grain, a little maltiness and water. Simple as advertised and not more than that. A great summer beer if only it was then.
