Pours slightly hazed gold into a willi. Grapefruit aromas. Crisp with sweet multigrain and pine upfront turning to earthy malt in the dry, medium length finish.

6 pack of cans, best before 8/13/2026, most recent can drunk 1/4/26, as pictured.
Sweet barley and almost a dash of corn with yellow fruit galore (big golden apple and a hint of melon). Not super expressive/complex in the hop department, that's for sure. But it's clean and pleasant enough with no seltzer or wort character.
Nice body on it, or maybe a lot of that is the big carbonation...but it's not seltzery and there is some malt sweetness and texture. Would have liked a little more hop character, or a bit more distinct/complex hop character, I guess. As is, it's pleasant and has a mild bitterness to balance, but doesn't show much more than golden apple, unripe strawberry and a touch of musk melon.

6 pack of cans, best before 5/1/26, drunk January 2026, as pictured.
Fresh dill is bright and authentic. Prominent, if not quite dominant. Lactic acidity gives additional zestiness and the gentle cucumber lightens things with its floral character. Good salinity, as well.
Salty/briny and lightly tart with tasteful acidity. Would like a little more cucumber than dill, but it's hard to complain here for an NA sour. Almost juicy, with a rich, malty/wheaty texture.

Pours lightly hazy gold with a very small white head. Smells of grainy, slightly bready malt. The flavor is mostly grainy malt, a bit toasted, and on the mild side, with very mild hops. Quite underwhelming.

Pours hazy yellow and has a light citrusy aroma. The flavor is citrusy and malty with a malt profile that resembles many session IPAs. Not bad. The Sierra Nevada NA hazy is better, as is Athletic’s regular NA IPA.

6 pack of cans, best before 7/12/26, drunk December 2025, as pictured.
Actually smells like hops, quite a bit so, though with a piney, pithy, grapefruity prominence. Some heavy spice and almost a hint of petrol. Biscuit, cracker and such balance from the malt. No wort, no oxidation.
Hoppy in the flavor, though again, some of this plasticy yeast and petrol character is somewhat problematic. Lots of hop, though it's mostly grapefruit. Why can't they get real, contemporary hop character in to an NA IPA?? It's always something redolent of 2006. That said, I'll take it. This is still very hoppy even if it is mostly pine and grapefruit. I feel like this is the very minimum bar NA IPAs need to be at for hops, even though this is like top 5% percentile currently, since so many NA "IPAs" are just mildly hopped, watery seltzer.

Has a sort of mosaic-y spiciness to it, with a peppery yeast evocative of what they're trying to do here. Some juicy stone fruit and tropical fruit rind. Clean, with a biscuity, almost wheat-like maltiness.
Lightly juicy, very peppery with tons of kiwi, starfruit and stone fruit rind. Hint of pineapple and lots of lingering black pepper in a slightly chewy, fairly substantial body. Clean and not seltzery. Athletic's smaller batch stuff is coming out pretty nicely lately.

6 pack of cans best before 7/10/26, which is an absurd best before date, drunk December 2025, as pictured.
Fruity and hoppy with a crackery malt that also shows a touch of biscuit. Not too heavy on the fruit and still allowing some citrusy and tropical fruits from the hops, to supplement and create a fairly good intensity of aroma, especially for an NA.
Similarly-flavored with a good bit of fruit juice character but nothing is too sweet here. Solid hop bitterness including plentiful grapefruit and a hint of pine. Biscuity, crackery malt with a medium-light body; actually quite substantial for an NA. Primarily citrus (grapefruit and lemon) with some tropical fruit on the finish. One of the better NA IPAs I've had.
