Tap at Bud. Shiny, black, with a low pretty head. Malty, roasty nose: coffee, dark chocolate, raisins, berries. Rich, smooth malt, complex and layered. Chocolate, fruits, coffee, a bit more phenolic than I like, licorice, roasty and nice.

Dark brown color. Thin light brown head. Beautiful coconut nose with cacao nibs playing the background. Huge roasted coconut mouth with cacao nibs, and coffee. Soo smooth and balanced. Fairly sweet but it works for the style. Really nice coconut and cacao finish. Nice stuff.

Keg at PP Solana Beach, 14/11/14 as Deofuls Callibration. Hazed golden blonde with a moderate light beige covering. Nose is rich fruit, yeast esters, light booze, sticky apricot, lemon curd. Taste comprises candied fruit peel, sweet licks, mandarin, apricot, vanilla. Medium + body, fine carbonation, warming alcohol in a sweetish close. Not bad for a big 13%’er, could say that it lacks depth for said ABV but it was drinkable and the sweetness didn’t become too much for me.
