Description
Rull Orchard is the brain child of Mike and his handy helper Claire. The process of starting a cidery has evolved into a project of permaculture to encourage the natural biodiversity of the site and to grow ourselves as many of the ingredients for our products as we can.Mike worked in demolition for 20 years but one autumnal morning helping a friend collect apples in a small local orchard he had a reawakening. He no longer wanted to destroy but to create, Claire has applied her technical skills and eye for detail and together they make a brilliant team.
At Rull Orchard we are committed to blending only the best ingredients to make our products special. We keep it simple and sustainable using locally grown apples so every drop is infused with a little idyllic Devonshire countryside. We love our products and hope you do too!

1/10/2020. Sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear mid-gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of caramel, toffee apple, vanilla, slight chipboard and leather notes. Taste is sweet and nutty. Moderate body, oily texture, spritzy carbonation. Sweet and tart finish. Curious one, didn’t mind it.

500ml bottle Manchester Cider Club 10Sep20. Clear golden colour, short-lived white foam head and aroma of caramel, meaty funk. Taste is initial oxidised, carboardy, with sweetish apple, juicy, some woody and acidic notes. Medim bodied, low carbonation, dry tangy finish. OK abit of initial oxidation evident.
