Bottled. Hazy orangeish amber colour with mediumsized creamy white head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is very fruity and flowery hops along with some chocolate cookies as well as some mild roasted notes. Flavour is very much the same in a very nice and harmonic balance. Hides the alcohol very well.

Black with medium brown head. Sweet vinious aroma with notes of roasted malt, coffee, liquerice and chocolate. Sweet flavor with roasted malt, dark bitter chocolate, oak, vanilla, coffee and whisky notes. Good complexity and well balanced. Excellent stuff!

33 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a lacing chocolate brown head. Mild vanilla, light woody, chocolate and roasted malt aroma - very promising and inviting. Flavour is subdued sweet. Smooth chocolate and caramel. Gains bitterness along the way. Warming alcohol feel. Light vanilla note. Warming finish with a lingering finish of alcohol, chocolate and vanilla. Lovely balance.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange almost murky with a lacing white head. Pine and orange fruity hops aroma. Flavour is pine, liqourice and a sweet caramel malt base. Goes into a solid bitter finish, very dry yet with a light fruity note. 7-3-7-4-15=3.6
From bottle before release - quite fresh. Pours dark orange and hazy. Heavy hoppy aroma. Complex heavy hoppy flavour, it simply has all. Ends with a lingering sweet caramel malt base to a dry hoppy flavour on top. Funny how the hops oil constantly changes between the different hops on my palate. Nice. 8-4-8-4-16=4.0

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Storm. Pours a slightly hazy amber golden with a creamy, beige head. Fat, oily and very complex hop aroma. Quite full-bodied with plenty of caramel malts. But otherwise completely dominated by the fat, citrusy hops that leave a substantial bitterness. I feared the worst from this hop monster, but it actually came out very decent. 120108

Bottled. Dark brown, small off-white head. Gingery nose. Sweet and fruity with medium body. The only flavour I get is ginger. Ginger that burns all the way, giving it an unpleasant, lopsided chemical flavour. It’s fairly sweet and there should be enough malt to balance a reasonable spice content - but it doesn’t work - all I taste is ginger.

Bottled. Dark ruby/brown, small creamy beige head. Aroma of fusels, apricot and toffee. Sweet with compact malty body. Medium-full bodied with lots of chocolate sauce and a salty bitterish finish where alcohol plays a part. Would probably prefer a more toned down version.

50 cl bottle@vinensverden,Odense. Pours muddy brown with a nice creamy head. Lots of roasted malts , caramel & bread! Soft & medium body - a bit thin perhaps. Hints of chocolate. I must not compare this to nøgne ø: Imperial brown, but I cant help it! Not as good in any way!
