YG 271024. Dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma is yeast, fruit, malt. Flavor is yeast, fruit,malt, roasted-burnt , chocolate, coffee, cocoa, hint of spices. OK beer.

Can. It's an unclear looking dark brown beer with a dense, finger-thick dark beige head leaving nice lacing. The aroma has lots of roasted malts and dark chocolate, some burnt hints and coffee grit. It's medium bodied and nicely carbonated, mostly on the dry side and with a good bitterness. Roasted malts, dark chocolate and some coffee in the flavor, hints of cocoa and burnt malts chiming in. There's also a very light spiced touch in the flavor, mostly towards the finish. Dry finish with dark malt flavors running the show, but some pine hops are present too. Overall a nice one indeed, especially considering the ABV. 241027

Can. A light gusher producing a huge, foamy dark beige head. Some lacing. The aroma is lightly sourish, milky, lemony and roasted malts sourish, with burnt notes and roasted malts, and quite a lot of piney hops. It's full bodied and surprisingly decently carbonated, quite dry, with a nice bitterness. Roasted malts, licorice, some coffee and sourness, pine cones and a hint of burnt malts and grapefruit. Lasting dry, roasted, burnt finish where some sweetness show up. Weird, but nice. 241010

Small fizzy shortlasting head, muddy dark orangy color. Aroma is sweet funky fruity, sugar, oak, sweet apple juice, mountain cranberries, mild vinegar, apple cores, thinner, vanilla, butterscotch. Taste is slightly sweet sour-ish funky fruity, apple juice, mild vinegar, oak, grass, mountain cranberries, apple cores, soda powder, yeast, apple peel, sour candy. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish fruity mouthfeel. Fair enough, a bit weird.
