Can. An unclear dark golden colored beer topped by a fluffy beige head. Lots of lacing. Smoked aroma with dried fruit notes, pine cones, hints of bacon and wood. It's quite thin on the palate, with a nice carbonation level. Quite dry. Smoked, lightly bacon-ish aroma, bonfire-smoked, with pine cones and some wood hints. Caramel. Long finish. Not bad for a rauchbier, but too thin and piney I think. 220108

330ml can bought at Gulating Ølutsalg in Tromsdalen. A firm, fawn-coloured head over a plain black body, spotty lacing. Inviting aromas of liquorice and chocolate. Vanilla sweet chocolate and liquorice to the taste character, lactose backbone. Lightly roasted, rather sweet, malty finish. Medium bodied. Quite alright. (Tromsø 27.12.2021).

Can. Unclear amber body under a fine, stable beige head. Aroma has malt, caramel and some dry fruit. Taste is malty with caramel and dry fruit like aroma, but some chocolate in addition together with decent bitterness. Medium body and nice aftertaste. A fine, straight forward, true to style brown ale with lots of taste at only 4.7% ABV, very food friendly.

330ml can, #221, bought at Vinmonopolet Tromsø Sentrum. Near-black body, bubbly fawn-coloured head, rich lacing. Promising aromas of roasted dark malts, scent of liquorice. Okay blended taste of liquorice, biscuit, and dark bread. Plain roasted ending, mid-sweet. Quite alright early on a Christmas eve. (Tromsø 24.12.2021).
