500ml bottle bought at Storo Ølutsalg. Good looking in the glass with its clear, dark brownish body, topped by a decent beige head leaving spotty lacing on the glass. Slightly roasted brown malty aromas, mid-sweet, promising. Blended taste profile with nutty caramel, dried and dark fruits. Drying close with lightly roasted brown malts. Yutetide feel, alright. 500 ml bottle, batch #279, as Vinje Motbakke Pale Ale, from Helgø Meny Mariero. ABV is 4.7%. Golden colour, huge white head. Aroma of piney American hops, also hints of orange marmalade and yeast. Citric mouthfeel. The flavour is piney, grapefruity and yeasty, with a distinct bitterness in the finish.

50cl bottle from Meny Bø. Pours sightly hazy golden with a white head. Malty aroma with mild yeasty and fruity notes and hints of honey and spices. Medium sweet with fairly low flavour intensity and ditto bitterness. A bit peculiar and nothing too memorable, but drinkable enough.
