Growler shared by Jim I believe, thanks! Poured a hazy yellow gold with a white head that lasted throughout the beer. Aroma was full of bitter pine with a slight grain backbone. Flavor was very similar with bitter pine throughout and a slight grain backbone.

growler at Free the Hops meeting, Huntsville, AL pours black, beige/mocha head. aroma and taste, chocolate malts, oat for a nice thick palate. Hops give this brew a nice floral and bitter chocolate mouthfeel without hampering the stout quality. Light coffee in the finish.

Music City Brewer’s Fest 2008. Clear dark brown body that produces a firm off-white head. Malty sour aroma. Unidentifiable off flavor. I’ll certainly try this again, I quite likely got a bad one.
