500ml Can - Golden with a white head. Malty aroma with some citrus hints. Clean tasting and smooth with notes of honey, malt and light hoppy hints. As other people have already said, there’s nothing wrong with it, but it’s nothing special. Having said that, it would be quite refreshing in Portugal when it gets very hot.

Bottle from Vintage Cellar. Pours dark amber with a vigorous beige head. Aroma of darkly roasted caramel. Medium body with fizzy carbonation. Flavor is nutty caramel. Finishes towards mild bitter with roast malt. Arguably balanced.

Bottle: Deep amber coloured, big fluffy tanned head; moderate to solid clean and dry roasty nose; moderate dryish bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; a subtle fruitiness shows up in the mild shorter bitter-sourish finish. Not bad at all, reminds You of a diluted Stout.......

Medium yellowish head, not very long residing over deep yellow-golden beer. Caramel & sweet malts, hot summergrain, cornflakes. Sweetish cookies taste, with a very fizzy CO² presence, very empty finish. Palate is stickiness and CO², duh. Very dull beer. Sell this in Bohemia, and you’re up for lynching. Txs to Stefaan!

Bottle at Chris o New Year tasting 08/09. Piss weak gold colour. Lemon squash and cardboard aroma. God, it’s comedic. Not horrible, but too lemony.

21/11 0.33 l can courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! One more beercountry for me! It poured lighter golden body with small head that lived shortly. Boring corny aroma, some herbal notes. There is way too much corn in it, which is specially felt when you try the beer; that eggy corny sweetness ruins the base that might not be so bad. Even some subtle herbal hops there. Medium body for a pale lager. Short and sweet industrial finish. Bad beer, easily forgettable in a sea of such pearls.

Botte courtesy of ogivlado (thanks!), shared with him and heavy. Poured a pale golden body with a tiny white head that went away fast. Acidic nose, skunky and herbal. This is a corn bomb (what can you expect from a macro pale lager boasting corn and rice), sweaty too and watery. Eggy. Not all that pleasant. Defintely not a good beer.

(33cl bottle) Clear, dark brown colour with a ruby shine and a loose beige foamy head. Sweet roast-malty aroma with notes of caramel, cacao and a touch of marzipan. Sweet and slightly roasty bitter flavour, light bodied with a medium carbonation. Initially malty sweet taste with notes of caramel, getting dryer and moderately bitter towards the finish; moderately lasting, minimal tart aftertaste with notes of cacao and a burnt bitterness. Likeable Schwarzbier (21.XI.08).
