Pours dark brown with light brown edges and thin off white head. The aroma has dark roasted malts with both chocolate, grains and caramel. The taste has the same roasted maltiness as in the nose as well as grainy malts, chocolate malts and faint caramel. Very tasty.

courtesy of cigarcitybrew What a good surprise in this beer. Pours black, off-white head. Aroma and taste; malty, some nice roastiness and caramel malts with light touches of chocolate. Very impressed by this beer, especially for a beer brewed by Sagres.

Bottled. Clear golden, small head. Aroma of orange lemonade. Sweet with clean mouthfeel and light-medium body. Fruity with notes of orange and not a whole lot else. Almost no bitterness.

330ml Bottle - Brown/amber in colour with a foamy head. Fruity aroma with raisins and some spicy malt notes. Quite appealing. Fruity, bitter and quite rich taste with raisins, malt, spice and some roasted and slightly smoked notes detectable. The roasted and smoked notes linger on in the finish. Fairly tasty.

Bottle (thanks mom!). Clear golden color with a minimal white head. Aroma has some grainy malt, faint corn hints and light hoppiness. Flavor is sweetish with light cereal notes and finishes quite bitter. Light-bodied. Not good but definitely drinkable.

Had been acquired in Fall River, MA, apparently. Brownish-amber colour. Rocky head. Aroma is slightly spicy, a little bit malty. Clean, if light, palate, has a vaguely malty accent. Quick finish, but again quite clean.

12oz bottle-pours a big rich light brown head and dark brown color. The dark brown color was towards black with red tint. Aroma is dark malt-some sweet. Taste is dark malt-some sweet/caramel, secondary nice hops bite. OK/mild carbonation. A nice schwarzbier meets a porter.
