Bottle shared. Very hazy amber with a medium cream head. Aroma is big herbal, vegetal, malt, spice, light yeast and caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

On tap at Artistic Table. It pours a deep orange gold color with an off white head. The aroma has some berries, honey, grapefruit and grape. The flavor is the same. Lots of sweet, maltiness but the hop character is fruity and pleasant. Clean fermentation and it does finish on a dry note as well. Not really my cup of tea, but it’s actually pretty solid as a malty DIPA.

Bottle, picked up at cost plus. Pours clear Amber with a very large beige head, dissipates fairly quickly with some lacing. Aroma is malty, spiced, pine, caramel, twigs. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter. Medium body, way over carbonated, otherwise not too terrible.

Capped 750 from Monument in Concord, CA. Pours coppery brown with a slight light tan head. Aroma of bourbon/whiskey from a foot away. Also treacle and maybe chocolate. Med ++ body. Flavor is bourbon/vanilla forward with some treacle and chocolate. Wood too. Not dry, but not really sweet either. Sort of light raisin kind of sweetness. Rather nicely done.
