Bottle, at Håndverkeren. It’s an unclear orange colored beer with a minimal sized white head. The aroma has coriander and orange, with wheat, citrus and a hint of grass. It’s medium bodied and a bit low on carbonation. It’s too sweet on the palate I think, with some wheat and bread in the back, and orange and coriander up front. Slightly grassy towards the finish. Overall, a bit boring, but easy drinkable. 181115

330ml bottle, #093, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Firm, fawn-coloured head leaving spotty lacing on the glass. Pitch black body. Inviting smell of dark chocolate malts with a coffee touch. Smooth chocolate flavours backed by anise, coffee and ash. Nicely roasted finish with a lingering coffee touch. Fine depth. Good drinking on a dark Christmas evening. (Tromsø 26.12.2018).

330ml bottle, #096, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. A small sized, pearl white head to a warm golden body with a slight haze. Moderate smell of citrus and coriander. Mid-sweet orange fruity taste alongside a coriander touch. Ends mid-dry fruity. Refreshing and soft in the mouth. Satisfying. (Tromsø 25.12.2018).

Bottle. It pours a deep brown body under a finger-thick dark beige head. Some curtains. It has a rich aroma with dark chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, some licorice hints and alcohol, and a light burnt down bonfire sourness in the far back. It's full-bodied and sweet on the palate, lightly warming and with a smooth carbonation. It's flavorful too, mostly on the dark side of course, but there's also a vague hint of caramelized apples. Brown sugar sweetness, roasted malts, some burnt notes, caramel hints and of course coffee and dark chocolate. Lasting finish with caramel, dark sugar, roasted malts, alcohol, coffee, dark chocolate and a lingering piney hop bitterness towards the very end. A delicious one for sure, I bet this will go well with Norwegian strawberries once they're in season. 181221

Lovely clear dark pour with a fine tan head. Ok lacing. A bit strange aroma. Coffee and roast with some sour notes. Not to inviting. Also a bit to high carbonation level. Fizzy mouth feeling. Roast, dark malt, fruity and some strange notes also in the flavor. Unbalanced in a way. Not a favorite…

Unclear pale yellow color with a huge frothy white head. The head stays fine for along time. God intensity in the aroma. Pleasant coriander. Mellow carbonation level. Pleasant to drink. Balanced sweetness. Yeast, wheat, mild citric and coriander in the flavor. Nice refreshing ale.
