330 ml bottle 4,6% – batch #2 from the brewery (not the previous Søgaards Bryghus version) Unclear orange body with a nice, medium sized off-white head. Strong hoppy aroma totally dominated by fresh citric fruit and some caramel malt in the background. Flavor is mild caramel malt with lots of citric fruit, peaches, some grapefruit and pine, pretty good bitterness. Medium body i.e. well balanced for the beer and long lasting refreshing fruity and bitter aftertaste with some malty sweetness. A really well made APA, as I find the style itself boring this was a positive surprise and is a beer a just need to have again. Served fresh this should easily become my local Lucky Jack.

On tap at Kristiansand Ølfestival. It pours an unclear golden-yellow body under a white head. The aroma is lightly lemony, with grass and some graina. Some bitterness in the mouth, it’s medium bodied and dry, with a decent carbonation level, and flavors of pale malts and grains, grass and a lemony touch. Mostly dry finish. A decent and quenching beer. 150822

A quite ok and refreshing lager with more taste than a normal dull boring lager.
A bit unclear golden color with a fine white head. Malty, herbal and sitrus in the aroma with an ok intensity. Medium body and a fine carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Wort-ish, herbal and a pleasant citrus touch in the flavor.

On tap at Café Sara, Oslo. Slightly hazy caramel coloured with a modest, off-white head. Moderate fruity aroma with butterscotch, caramel, malt and hints of citrus and pine. Medium sweet with mild hoppy flavours, but quite malty and buttery, but a fairly balanced bitterness. Not too impressive, but still fairly drinkable.
