About
Breckenridge Brewery opened its doors in 1990 in the mountain town of Breckenridge, Colorado. It’s the third-oldest craft brewery in the state. In 1992, our second brewpub in downtown Denver opened. In the summer of 2015 a new production brewery was opened in Littleton. After 26 years, the focus is still on creating well-balanced, approachable, and interesting beers while also creating memorable visitor experiences. In 2016 Breckenridge Brewery became a unit of AB InBev.

12 ounce can from Festival Northland, 12/17/20. Hazy pale orange, large white head, good retention. Aroma of pineapple, mandarins, pale malt. Taste is grapefruit, dank, resin, pine, pineapple. Thin, low bitterness. Juicy, dry. Decent.

Its about what you'd expect from a wheat beer, and likely better than the average american wheat beer. Pretty clean refreshing semi-dry malt character, is there a hint of agave flavor in there? Maybe. Slightly doughy/yeasty. Fairly decent medium-level mouthfeel gives it reasonable body. Overall pretty generic and uninteresting but at the same time no flaws, solid, good tasting, and worth drinking.

Bleh! What in the freak is going on in this hop profile? Onions for starters. A little garlic. Maybe sweat sock. I mean I can almost get the citrus, grapefruit. Flavors very much the same. Thin malts behind this, semi-dry and almost watery mouthfeel. No, I just can't.

Saw the can, thought it said Black lager. Looked again, Breck Lager. Dang, I got excited. Well either way its a decent beer. Straw gold, moderate foamy head. Looks good in a thistle glass. Very faint herbal and grassy hop nose, similar hop flavors, light bitterness. Pilsneresque malts, dry crackery, clean. Semi-dry, a surprising amount of body for a pale lager, feels all malt, this is pretty good.

12 oz. bottle. Pours clear brown, with a small, beige head. The aroma is brown sugar, juniper, cinnamon, rye, and cacao nibs. Malty and quite bitter. Medium body, with a grainy, hard palate. This is a simple, but quality and pretty tasty beer.

Bottle from JR's. Smells like plain freshly made beer and it is just slightly hazy pale, like many other beers. Very good initial co2 cutting on the uptake. Nicely refreshing, initially tastes very good. Yes, it is very refreshing and it goes down so easy. Though its fruit flavored, you can barely tell there is fruit in it. The fruit is never in yer face. It actually comes across like a mild, well behaved blondie, no lie. Its been a while since I had a beer from brecken, but I'd have to say this is one of the ones I've liked the most. Very nice, very friendly, very civilized and very quaffable. A very good beer tasting experience right up to the last drop out of the bottle, thanks breckie! I'm liking this, should have bought a sixer.

The aromas are dark malt and roast with a little chocolate. Flavors are similar to nose, lightly sweet upfront, with hints of coconut. Soft smooth body with slightly metallic finish.

12 ounce bottle. Amber orange color. Pillowy beige head. Spicy toasted malt aroma. Toasted malt flavor hints at caramel and toasted white bread. Some spicy hops in finish. Decent.

Bottle thanks to Drake! Hazy brown with a small but soft beige head. Raisin, caramel, toffee, cherry, light whiskey (but very light). Flavor is caramel, cherry, spice including nutmeg and cinnamon, light whiskey (heavier in the flavor than the nose, but still on the light side), vanilla, raisin, light wood. Drinks lighter than 8.8% for sure. Good!

Fun looking can, all pinky and silver and such. Has a nice creamsicle nose. Mostly clear pale but if you look hard enough I do think I see a shade of pink. Taste is typical fruit flavored beer, but its not quite as dull as some poorly made varieties. Has a good level of co2. Decent. Not as sweet as the nose would lead you to believe. Has a really big head that refuses to fade. Not bad overall. Better than expected but could use a tad of tartness to round it out a little..
