On tap at the Bend BP Slightly hazy light golden with a thin brief white ring of bubbles. Light soft pale malts and very lightly hopped. The coffee notes also are very subtle. Just a touch. Quite good actually.

355ml can, as Worthy 'Lights Out' stout, from Tillamook creamery. Cracked open after a long 250mile drive up the Oregon coast to Ocean Park, Washington. Pours dark cola brown, small pale tan foam atop. Aroma of grainy chocolate. Taste has some pronounced liquorice, the vanilla not really jumping out at the time, attention given more to the malt, chocolate and coffee. It's fine, a little thin and liquoricey and not as balanced as I'd liked, but it was drunk.

Bomber from Albertsons. Slightly different recipe from their original IIPA. Clear amber with a small creamy head. Woody, piney hops for the aroma. Taste brings a caramel malt undercurrent, but the bittering hops stay st the forefront and linger long after you've finished.
