Description
Steelhead Brewery has been around for 23 years and within this time they have had much success! When we opened our doors in 1991, there were 21 breweries in the country and now in 2013, there are over 1,900! We are proud to be one of the founding fathers of the great craft beer movement and we are very proud to announce that we are finally jumping into bottling and outside keg distribution! Unfortunately, we can not bottle under the Steelhead name due to Trademark issues, so we will be McKenzie Brewing Company. Brewers Ted Fagan and Richard Blanchard are very excited to now be able to share there creations with the world! CHEERS!

Admin Note: Formerly know as Steelhead Brewing Company. Steelhead was the brewpub arm and McKenzie was used as the canning/bottling name. It seems that the brand has embraced the McKenzie branding fully with the CA location closing in 2020.

19.2oz can from Beer Emporium Corvallis. Light cloudy golden pour with a thin foamy head. No hazy here, a classic NW DIPA all the way. Aroma is light sweet malts and piney hops. Taste brings caramel flavors before a thick layer of piney hops covers the palate. Bitter finish.
