Can. Very dark brown with about a cm of light tan head. Aroma is roasty and a bit weedy with some mocha. Seems dryish and roasty at first then gradually some sweet mocha creeps in before a modestly bitter finish I wished bit a little more. Fair enough.

Can. Clear amber with a small white head. Aroma of passionfruit, breadcrust, grilled peach. Medium bodied. Quite sweet with caramel and peach. Subdued stewed tropical fruit, then some spiced and somewhat resinous notes towards a moderately bitter finish.

Can. Dirty orange with a white head. Cleaning product aroma - solventy with tropical overtones. A bit of Air Wick continues in the taste but not so much. It's somewhat fruity but sitting on nothing in particular. Moderately bitter. bb 10/24 but might be too old. Or just not for me.

Canned 17 Aug. Almost black with a light tan head that lasts pretty well. Choc orange (+ grapefruit) aroma with some roast and stone fruit. More bread to the malt than expected but still not very sweet, Roast, mocha, firm bitterness. Fruit gets a little lost. Has a lot of presence for 6.2%. Good stuff.

Can. Very dark brown with a tan head that fades to a coat. Rather meek aroma of caramel, gentle roast. About medium bodied with well-judged medium-low carbonation. Maybe some chocolate but more caramel and grainy bread with firmer roast than suggested by the aroma and a decisive bitter finish that makes it for me. But doesn't really justify its strength.

15/10/2022. Draught at Ocean Reach Taphouse, Cowes, Philip Island. Pours slightly hazy pale orange with a small frothy white head. Aroma is tropical, citrus, grapefruit, orange, light pine and spice, husky cheesy notes and a mucky whiff. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Slightly peppery. Again fizzy but enjoyed it the most of the 6 tried here today.
