(Can) Pours very dark brown with short lived tan head. Nice aroma of nuts with notes of coffee and chocolate. Smooth medium body with nice soft carbonation. Very nice taste that evolves well in the palate. Some tangy and black treacle notes at start which mellow to dark chocolate and dark toffee. Some burnt sugar bitter notes in the finish. Very good.

(Can) Pours slightly hazy mid brown with good pale tan head. Great aroma with plenty of pine and notes of tangy fruit and toffee. Good mouthfeel. Medium bodied and smooth, with plenty of fine carbonation. Good taste too with a nice balance between hops and malt. There’s a nice hoppy bitterness steadily growing throughout the palate. This accompanies a toffee malt with herbal notes and hints of candy. Very good.

Can. Cloudy amber with a good inch of white head. Under-ripe tropical fruit aroma with crackers and some caramel. Some NS-like gooseberry sits nicely with the caramel edge before pine needles and pepper towards the fairly bitter finish.

Can. Dark brown with a 2cm beige head that lasts well. Aroma of citrus, flowers, mocha, some lychee. Pretty light bodied, a bit too fizzy - better after a swirl. Lots of over-roasted coffee gets in the way of the fruit a bit. Dryish and quite bitter at the end. Quite different from Absence of Light but about as good.

hey hey hey. one tschoo. Can. Dark reddish brown with a beige head that fades to a cm. Aroma of caramel, mild roast, light spices. Rather fizzy. Some bready body to go with the caramel (and chocolate) sweetness before a little roast and some gentle bitterness at the end. Pleasant enough - could have done with more bitterness.
