Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2023. Pours an amber copper with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has bread and grain notes with a bit of biscuit and sweetness coming through. Flavor combines bread and sweet grains well with some biscuit and a hint of caramel underlying.

On tap at Blind Tiger, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out subtle whiskey barrels and moderate roast. Flavour is odd, with light whiskey barrels, toasted malt, and a touch of smoke. Not a great barrel expression, nor is the base beer all that special. Meh.

On tap at Blind Tiger, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out grassy hops and crisp biscuity malt — a litre jagged and harsh. Flavour is crunchy, with a poor hop expression — there's almost a cardboardy character to it all. Bad hops? Bad malt? Bad balance? Whatever it is, this isn't good.

On tap at Blind Tiger, pours a clear dull golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is subtle, with bready malt and a touch of herbal notes. Flavour is rather herbal and almost fungal, with a subtly sweet herbal, biscuity malt. I'm not sure how this ever won awards. This is mediocre at best.

On tap at Blind Tiger, pours. Clear amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out a nice, gentle smoked meat character and soft bready malt. Flavour is dry and gently smoky, with light campfire smoke, gently sweet bready malt and a hint of caramel. Not as pleasing as their smoked helles I just tried. It's alright.

On tap at Blind Tiger, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out a nice campfire smoke character upfront, with light herbal notes in back. Flavour is nicely smoky, with plenty of campfire smoke, light sweetness and biscuity malt. Really nicely smoked. Surprisingly nice.

Taster @ GABF 2019. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grainy aroma. Fruity malty grainy flavor. Has a fruity malty grainy finish with weak hints of caramel.

Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2018. Pours a hazy light yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of sour guava with grains backing and a touch of acid. Flavor has notes of tart guava, a bit of tropical fruits and a sweet wheat backbone.
