Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at Gloucester Beer Festival, 22/4/2016. Jet black in colour, with a creamy, beige, head. Aroma of milk chocolate, vanilla oak and roasted malts. Flavour had more chocolate, some berry sweetness and toasty malts, before a gentle, vaguely tangy, finish. A good low ABV beer.

Cask, on gravity, at Tewkesbury Winter Beer Festival, 5/2/2016. Deep brown in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Aroma of berry fruits, demerara sugar, and leafy hops. Flavour was sweetish with more red fruits, cakey malts and a boozy finish with a hoppy kick. A good beer from a new brewpub.
