Description
Yards has been brewing Philly's beer since 1994. We’ve grown from a garage-sized operation in Manayunk all the way up to our current location at 500 Spring Garden Street in Northern Liberties. And we couldn't have done it without your support through the years. Our beers always have and always will be brewed, bottled, kegged, and canned for the hard working people of Philadelphia and beyond.

Can. Pours clear golden with a foamy off-white head, grassy hops aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter, lightly piney taste, thin body, long finish. Decent, no frills IPA. Not sure what was the effect of the pineapple juice though.

6 ounce can. Honey gold pour. Pillowy white head. Bready malt nose has lemony notes. Spicy, citrusy flavor upfront. Notes of lemon, yeast, clove and orange zest. Highly carbonated. Sweet booziness in finish.

Surprised me. Only a few mouthfuls, but seemed it could be decent.

This isn't just any old IPA. It's a legit India Pale Ale. Sure it is. Its clear its white foamy head it smells like IPA with a tad of BO it tastes like IPA and it is just like any other terribly on style IPA. So, you want me to find something different about this? I can't, unless saying that its perfectly filtered clear pale makes it a little different than most of the contemporary hazy IPA out there. Also it does have a little more carbonation on the palate compared to most IPA and I like that. But anyhow, it is a typical full blown IPA with all the nasty bitter ass nellie feel to it; an archetypal IPA rototiller on the tongue and there you have it. What else can be said, one in a gahzillion.

Pours a hazy muddy amber from a can. Weirdly candy, resiny aroma and flavor. Did they use candi sugar in this. Weird. Meh.

Pours a hazy ish amber from a can. Odd lemon PEZ aroma, along with some wine grapes? Flavor is more pronounced. Kind of weird. Okay beer.

Can. Pours hazy dark yellow with a large foamy off-white head, very faint citrus aroma, adequate carbonation, lightly bitter citrusy taste, thin watery body, long citrusy finish. Not bad, but not very remarkable either.
