Description
Yards has been brewing Philly's beer since 1994. We’ve grown from a garage-sized operation in Manayunk all the way up to our current location at 500 Spring Garden Street in Northern Liberties. And we couldn't have done it without your support through the years. Our beers always have and always will be brewed, bottled, kegged, and canned for the hard working people of Philadelphia and beyond.

(Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 14 Sep 2018) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, herbal nose with dried fruit, peaches, soft malt and herbs. Malty, spicy taste with notes of bread, grass, hay, citrus and a balanced herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. On the sweet side for a saison, but tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

Old Bottle from Todd, unknown date but it has the older style label. A careful pour yields a brilliantly clear deep golden color with a huge bubbly white head that persists. Light oxidation that is sherry and faint cardboard but the aroma and flavor are still earthy spicy saison. Surprised it held up so well given the abv,

At the Nassau Inn, Princeton NJ. Brown in colour, with a moderately-sized, off-white, head. A sweetish mild, with brown sugar, ripe malts and a hint of toastiness, before a gentle finish. Fine.

Stopped for a roast pork while traveling for business and I can’t pass up a mild. Amber brown pour. Nose is light wood and caramel. Tastes malty, some caramel, and like licking furniture. Mild easy going palate. Pretty good.

Sampled on draft at Pipers this beer poured a somewhat murky amber tan color with a medium sized foamy orange-white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet and yeasty with notes of bread crust and bubblegum. The flavor was sweet and yeasty with bubblegum, perfume, bread crust and grain. Medium length finish. Moderately full bodied.
