Description
Yards has been brewing Philly's beer since 1994. We’ve grown from a garage-sized operation in Manayunk all the way up to our current location at 500 Spring Garden Street in Northern Liberties. And we couldn't have done it without your support through the years. Our beers always have and always will be brewed, bottled, kegged, and canned for the hard working people of Philadelphia and beyond.

Wow, I have just realized why I was really drunk that one night. I had this beer out of a keg and had no idea that its alcohol content was so high. There would have been no way to tell that the alcohol content was that high. Lovely bitter taste, full bodied, but pale. Not really a complex beer, but one that I would definately like to try under more introspective circumstances.

Got this beer from a keg at a party. I was already drunk and this was a great transition away from the malt liquor that I was drinking earlier. A nice sweet beer, with a stale bite at the end. Definately a nice beer to swish around in your mouth. A good beer to swish around in the mouth and easy to drink even while heavily intoxicated.

Didn’t seem to taste as alky as it says. Probably my least favorite of my variety pack. First bottle seemed flat then next a little fizzy. Then next was about right carbonation. Then, next, then, next, then.... A little better than your average pale yellow american beer. IPA is not my fave. Will not buy again.

yes, my variety pack was old, too. Dated early 2005. But, what is old? I see others saying if they had waited another year it would be better! Although I thought this to have a little too much bitter after taste, the lively carbonation made this a treat. It feels like the carbonation in fine champagne. Though a slightly less (or more) than pale yellow american beer, it is not typical. Pretty exciting to drink. Purchased at Beaver Valley Beverage in Monaca for $1 per 12 oz bottle. yum yum. I purchased this for the dark beer but this one is my fave out of the variety pack. Would buy special again. If i’m to give a pale yellow beer a rating above 2, it’s good!
