Description
Tucked away in an industrial estate on the outskirts of Bolton, a father and son are quietly brewing up a storm.

Nick and Neil Walton established Tin Head Brewery on Bradley Fold Trading Estate back in 2016 as a home to their passion for creating their own beer.

The venture proved a huge success, with the brewery receiving plaudits for its products, as well as its eye-catching can designs.

Although they have brewed a range of beers, Tin Head mostly specialise in New England IPAs, all of which are created on site.

Every pint we brew gets the same meticulous attention to detail to ensure perfect quality every time. Brewing is not just our business, it is our passion.

2/12/2020. Can sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours hazy/cloudy dark golden brown with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, citrus, grapefruit, caramel, passion fruit, touch of herb. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, slight creamy texture, average carbonation.

330ml can from Redbank online. Hazy golden colour, big foamy white head leaving some lacing and aroma of citrus hop, grainy. Taste is malt, caramel, with juicy fruity citrus hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Keg at Broood @ Vin Quatre, Leicester. Dark gold and murky with an olive green tint. Almost no aroma to speak of. A bit of gummy resin and a bit of tropical fruit. Sweet taste without much else going on. Some bothering hop in the finish, with a bitter aftertaste. Not keen on this at all.

Can from the House of Beer, Ramsbottom. Golden with a creamy head. Hoppy, mildly fruity, but its fairly high bitterness with a citrus influence is probably is most notable characteristic.
