55cl bottle from AbeerVinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours an elegant red, transparent, with fine white foam. Aroma is malty, caramel. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is moderately bitter, with good malty sweetness behind. Final is average.

550ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Murky dark gold with a nicely consistent white head. Aroma of citrus peel, banana, bread. Taste has a creamy wheat grainy/bread character with yeasty notes of banana, light citrus peel, clove and a hint of pepper. It has a nice crisp bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. It wont blow your mind but its very well brewed and a good example of the style.

Bottle from House of Trembling Madness. Pours a light amber with a slight red hue. Strawberry jam and light malt aroma but fairly fresh in note. Taste of pithy strawberries, not overtly confected or oversweet, light tang with a fairly basic pale malt background. Light to medium bodied. Refreshing fruity beer but quite simplistic. Enjoyable though.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours a deep red/purple with a small pink tinged head which lasts well. Lovely raspberry fruity aroma, not much beer elements on the nose. Taste of that wonderful raspberry, a certain creaminess to it in flavour and mouthfeel, quite sweet with a modest tartness, some grain notes in the background remind you its still a beer. Very good.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours a clear amber with small nice lasting white head with decent lacing. Aroma of orange pith and zest with caramel and herbs. Taste of caramel, lightly burnt toast, citrus zest and pith, spice. Sweet middle but good long bitterness. Medium bodied, quite smooth. A very good traditional English ale although the pasteurisation has made it a little too clean and hollow in the finish. Plenty of flavour in the middle of this beer though.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Clear gold, small white head. Standard look. Aroma of grainy malts, light fruitiness and grassy hops. No off notes. Taste of grains, bread, tingle of spice, light fruitiness, moderate grassy bitterness throughout. Light to medium bodied, short sharp carbonation. Very good clean well brewed lager

Bottle from House of Trembling Madness. Pours a clear amber with small off-white head, some retention, Standard. Aroma is a little tinny (aka pasteurised) but reasonable with malty caramel notes as well raisin and pear fruitiness. Taste is certainly more welcoming on a near winter night with caramel and toffee notes, raisins, dried fruits and spice, a little zesty bitterness. Very nice. Medium bodied, zingy carbonation. Far from perfect but nonetheless enjoyable.

Bottle from House of Trembling Madness. Pours black with small beige head, nice retention and lacing. Aroma of light roasted malts, cola, chocolate, blackcurrants. Taste is malty with roast notes more evident in the flavour and flowing through to the finish. Blackcurrant fruit and tangy notes, chocolate as well a certain graininess in the background. A sweetness balances it. Just shy of medium bodied but ok for 5% and still has a slickness to it. Tasty.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Clear brown with small beige head. Aroma of sweet malts, nuts, caramel, light aromatic hop. Taste is very malty with sweetness, toffee, nuts, some chocolate. Light to medium bodied and highish carbonation. Quite tasty.
