Bottle from Ledgers. Ok, there’s banana in the aroma, and there’s wheat with it; even clove, I think. Hazy apricot/gold color with a sturdy white head. Near medium in body with fizzy/creamy carbonation. Flavor is banana, wheat, clove and something else. Seems almost a bit acidic. Finish is fairly dry. Pretty good hefe. Maybe it will help lower the suicide rate. Certainly this ale is nothing to be depressed about.

500ml bottle. Brown-orange color, with a nice lively head. First ex-Soviet Block Marzen I’ve had to my knowledge. This is quite a pleasant surprise. Full and rich, with lots caramel malt sweetness. Very fresh tasting. There is, however, a slight adjuncty presence in the finish, perhaps sugar. Pretty good beer, worth a try.

500ml Bottle- Copper brown in colour with a large head. Pleasant fruity aroma with raisins detected along with caramel and a noticeable but but very strong alcohol smell. Bitter, fruity taste with caramel and raisins giving a pleasant aftertaste. Quite nice.

500ml bottle from Tescos - "Lithuania’s most popular beer". Straw with a dense white head; lively carbonation; grassy hop aroma; full-flavoured, central European-style body, with assertive pungent hops, and a grainy body. Very pleasant.

50cl Bottle- Pale gold and quite attractive in apperance with a pale white head. Sadly, this is the best thing I can say about this beer. A mild grassy aroma and the taste is also grassy with hints of citrus. The beer is technically well made but far too bland, especially for the strength.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow and with a huge chalk white head. Aroma is wheaty, with a minor metallic note and a classic wheat-bubblegum note too. Flavour is rather smooth and starts out much like a Belgian wit with a mellow and nice set of spices. After this a classic German hefeweizen flavour takes over, which sadly also introduces bubblegum flavours. Sweet and citric towards a bitter and wheaty finish. Nice

Bottle. Amber colour with a decent, off-white head. Powerful malt aroma with a touch of fruit. Flavour was of caramel and black bread. The finish was dry with a slight hint of corn starch. Ok.

Bottle. Very strong barley malt aroma - like whiskey wort. Amber color with a moderate head. Sour barley malt. Has an unfinished quality to it.
