Pours honey yellow with a thick, foamy head. The aroma is red grape juice just after the pour, quickly vanishing to be replaced with a mix of hay and garden herb. Taste is overall sweet and fairly typical for the style with traces of honey, lemon and bread. Medium bodied. Overall decent but very dull. Doubtful that this was worth 30 minutes of my life.

[backlog] 15-10-15 / bottle. Good pils. Clear golden. Light malt base with some flowery hop bitterness. I started rating my beers with Untappd and a few basic notes. Now I want to rate them on ratebeer. So my rating sometimes lack some information. Just ignore it, it is for my personal statistics. Untappd-Rating 3.5/5

26-11-16 // sample at CraftBeerMesse Mainz. Pretty easy to drink and light beer but with a nice complexity of malts and hop bitterness. Really enjoyed it. Citrus and grassy hop notes.

25-11-16 // sample at CraftBeerMesse Mainz. What a beer. Stron and powerful. Complex. Pours a brownish beer. Strong complex nose. Taste is diverse malty with some wood notes, some whiskey notes, barleywinelike. Light fruity hop notes. Some dreid fruits aswell. Very well balanced.

Refrigerated 0.5 L flip-top bottle listed as Miltenburg Dunkle poured into aweihenstephan glass. Dark brown with big light brown highlights and small off-white head. Aroma is milk chocolate, medium/light body, medium carbonation, and pretty good small-bubble lacing. Taste is milk chocolate and banana.
