Bottled. Dark color, thick frothy brown head, good lace. Aroma of roasted malt, oatmeal, some coffee, hint of grainy hop. Malty taste, slight sourish, some dry grain. Bitter coffee palate.

Bottle. Dark red-brown with a rather large slightly tan head. Sweet malty aroma with some yeast and dried fruits. Flavor was also sweet with syrup, raisins, licorice, some chocolate and dried fruit. Full body with low carbonation.

300ml draught at De Klomp. Unclear copper coloured body. Tiny, lacing head. Pale malts mixed with hay to a rather weak aroma. Lighter taste of fruity hops. Resinous hops towards the finish. Clean tasting and easy to drink (Linköping, 06.02.2010).

Bottle 330ml. [ As Hantverksbryggeriet Julnarren ]. Clear medium to dark amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, nutty peel, light hoppy, orange - mandarin, spicy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100113]

Bottle 330ml. @ home.Unclear medium to dark red purple color with a average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy fruity - berry, blueberries, wood, leather, tart - sour. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate acidic with a average to long duration. Body is light medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20100105]

Bottled. Clear ruby color, medium off-white head. Aroma of malt, some bread, bit fruity, booze, bit sugar. Moderate bitter taste, bit sweet, slight alcohol. Medium bodied. Ok.

Bottle. Black with a good looking brown head. Aroma of smoke, licorice, chocolate and roasted malts. Flavor of chocolate, caramel, some licorice. Finish was hoppy. A descent Imperial Stout.

Bottled. Hazy orange color, short head. Aroma is skunky, of overcooked hops, some spice, vegetable. Taste is ok, quite bitter. Aroma is quite bad.
