Solsletta 111220. Red amber color with a beige head. Aroma is bread, toast, yeast. Flavor is bread, toast, yeast, caramel, roasted malt, spices, dried fruit, coffee.

Bottle, 75cl. It's an unclear reddish pale brown beer with a cute beige head leaving lacing. Roasted malts, bread crust, toffee, dried fruits, hints of coffee and some wort notes in the aroma. It's full-bodied, smooth and nicely carbonated, with a decent sweetness. Roasted malts, bread crust, dark dried fruits and a touch of coffee in the flavor. Raisin, some dark wort and some piney hops too. Long quite sweet finish with roasted malts and bread. A pleasant and tasteful beer, with surprisingly good body for this alcohol level. 201211

Bottle @ Håntverkeren. Clear amber body under a fine, big, dense tan head. Nice aroma of malt, bread, ripe fruit and marmalade. Taste is smooth malt, medium sweet, hint of toffee, marmalade, generic fruit, a touch of spices and balanced bitterness. Fine body with a long lasting soft aftertaste. Nice, tasty and balanced beer.

Taste is really smooth malty, biscuit, toffee, dry fruit, some general fruitiness, slightly spicy and balanced bitterness. Fine body with a long-lasting pleasant aftertaste. A really nice, tasty, no nonsense honest beer.

Bottle, 75cl. It's close to black in the glass, with a minimal sized beige head. Sweet, licorice aroma with alcohol, dark dried fruit notes and some lactose sweetness. Orange hints. It's full bodied, soft and smooth, with a light carbonation. Licorice, roasted malts, some orange and quite a lot of of sweetness in the flavor, all lasting for a good while. Long finish. More licorice than chocolate milk, but sure nice. 201106
