One of the few white ales I have tried, Double White just becomes the most recent. Bought in a mixed six pack in Santa Fe at the recommendation of a friend. Tilting it into a tall beer glass I find a hazy, light yellow body with a quickly disappearing off-white head. The scent is fruity and somewhat grainy. The taste is green apple, peach and dough. Not my favorite style of beer this is just another one for me to try.

Cask at The Great British Beer Festival 2017, Olympia, London. A red/brown/amber coloured pour with a medium off white head on top. Sweet, orange, grapefruit, caramel on the nose. Tastes hoppy, tropical fruit, orange, grapefruit, caramel, slightly sweet. Delicious beer, I had quite a few of these at GBBF.

Bought a 22 oz bomber of this while in the Metroplex recently. I pour into my my ABGB snifter and see an inky black body with brown edges when the glass is held up to the light. It gives a thin tan head that promptly disappears. It is a curious scent lifting up, burnt coffee and bread. The taste is chocolate for sure, coffee again, smoke and licorice. Stout Americano strives for something different. Mission accomplished, just not my cup of tea.

Sampled at CBC, pours a hazy neon yellow with a ring of white head. Nose has coriander, curacao orange... WOO. Flavor follows, harsh, heavy coriander, banana too. Just overdone.
