28/6/2024. Bottle from Anglo-Oregon Brewery, Newport. Pours dark chestnut brown with a small creamy/frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma is lightly roasted, milky, nutty, chocolate, caramel, dark fruits. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Came over more mild like, was quite drinkable but a bit underwhelming as a BIPA.

330ml bottle shared with Finn at Cellar Door Real Cider & Ale House. A solid fawn-coloured head on top of a pitch black body. Spotty lacing on the glass. Mid-sweet, roasted earthy malts on the nose, promising. Well blended taste profile of dark bread, chocolate and caramel malts. Smoothly roasted ending. Velvety mouth feel. Very well made stout, (Newport 03.10.2018).
