Description
COAST Brewing Company is a family owned craft brewery, on an old Navy base. We make beer we like to drink, simple and done well. We believe in choice organic and local ingredients. But it's not just about being organic, it's a certain mind set of considering the environment in everything we do. In fact, we're not certified organic and have no plans to be-we do it because we believe it's the right thing. All of our ingredients are listed including which are organic. Welcome and thanks for your continued support!

Can courtesy of Bacchus66. Thanks. Pours a medium dark brown color with a khaki colored head. The aroma is dark cocoa powder and well roasted grains. The taste follows the nose with more cocoa and more roasted grains. Also present in the taste is some bitter walnuts. Palate body is medium. Overall: decent brown. Paired well with some scharfe maxx alpine cheese.

Can courtesy of Bacchus66. Thanks. Translucent gold pour with a big foamy white head. The aroma is mild with sweetened grains and some indistinct citrus. The taste was grains, straw and bitter aluminum. Bitterness was rather on the high side, like someone went heavy handed with magnum hops. Palate was medium-light. Finished short and dry. Overall: meh, SNPA has nothing to worry. However, I do appreciate the SC state tick.

Black with a medium sized foamy dark brown head that lingered and left decent lacing. Malty and sweet with dough, anise, smoke, dark fruit and chocolate. Long finish. Full body

Clear amber color with a medium thin off-white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Floral hops, fruit and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, fruit and roast malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

12oz can. Poured a clear copper color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was some malt, some light grain. Alcohol was a lot lighter than expected, not nearly as hoppy as I had hoped. Reminded me a bit of an old-school DIPA, more malt than hop.
