750 ml bottle @ the brewpub. Unclear dark orange body with a nice, creamy off-white head. Aroma is fresh and fruity with ripe peaches, canned fruit, berries and malt with yeast. Flavor is sweet malt, ripe fruit, marmalade, pleasant bitterness and something I have a problem to put my finger on, reminds me a bit about popcorn without really taste like oxidation. Nice, rather strong body and medium aftertaste with ripe fruit and bitterness. Nothing extraordinary but still pleasant unusually.

Bottle, 75cl at the brewpub, courtesy of the brewpub. A good looking one, almost clear, and dark brown in color. A dense light tan sits on top. The aroma has a nice chocolate touch and some heavily roasted malts. Coffee notes and some faint yeast hints. It’s quite dry on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation. Medium body. Chocolate, dark malts, roasted malts, coffee and a faint yeast touch in the flavor. Some bitter notes towards the finish. Sure sessionabla this one, tasteful and almost refreshing. 140920

Bottle, 75cl, at the brewpub. Courtesy of the brewery. An unclear reddish orange beer with a small, dense off-white head. There’s quite a lot of ginger in the aroma, but at a pleasant level, balanced. It’s quite fruity, tropical, with a faint yeasty touch. It’s full bodied and smooth, with a little alcohol warmth. Pleasant level of ginger in the flavor too. Fruity, lightly malty. Lasting finish. Overall, it feels a bit fresh, but it’s one of the best ginger beers I’ve had. 140920

750ml bottle @ Apotekergaarden. Unclear orange body with a long lasting medium sized off-white head. Aroma has mild malt with a hint of smoke and bacon. Flavor is sweet, not much bitter, moderate smoke and bacon with hint of yeast. Medium body with sweetish aftertaste. Feels a bit plain and actually a bit dull. Almost decent for this low alcohol, but I prefer more personality in my beer regardless the alcohol.

750ml bottle @ Apotekergaarden. Unclear golden body with a stable, big, creamy off-white head. Moderate aroma of pale malt, yeast and spices with hint of bread. Flavor is sweet, fruity, floral and rather bitter for the style. Hint of bread and oranges. Medium body and relatively bitter in aftertaste. Not very exciting, but definitively not bad either, nice thirst quencher.

Bottle, 75cl, at the brewpub. It pours a hazy dark golden body under a dense two finger off-white head. Some lacing. The aroma is piney and citrusy, with some hints of strawberry in the back. Malty caramel notes too. The flavor could use some more bitterness, but the fruity flavors are nice, so is the malty backdrop. A bit thin on the palate, at least considering the style and ABV. Pleasant carbonation. Lasting finish with a decent bitterness. Not bad at all, but far from impressive. 140827
