Description
Beer House opened its doors in July 2002 and is the only and unique restaurant-brewery in Estonia, which produces 7 sorts of “living” non-filtered and unpasteurised beer. The restaurant’s interior is created in the style of Austrian beer houses. The restaurant´s Beer Square embraces you with the atmosphere of the Vienna streets and in summer time here is opened the longest terrace in the Old Town.

The recipes of the beer brewed in Beer House are originating from Bavarian breweries of the XVI century. The brewing technology of unique premium class beer is under the close supervision of the brew masters team, headed by our master brewer Eve Toomela, who is qualified by the most famous Austrian brew masters. For the production of the best „living“ beer we are using only the high quality raw materials: malt we bring from Austria, yeast and hops from Germany..

250ml draught at Beer House. Golden body, upper part lacing from a fair white head. Moderate smell of grainy malts. Flavoured with a note of buttery malts and herbal hops. Soft ending, malty. So and so. (Tallinn, 05.11.2025).

Tap at the brewery. Thin body, med-high carbonation. Medium bitterness, low sweetness. Light roasted astringency, but not too bothersome. Overall rather weak character, watery, but still the best one on offer, with least amount of flaws and best drinkability. Okay.

Tap at the brewery. Medium body, medium carbonation. Assertive presence of diacetyl, mixed with some weird honeyish flavour. Medium bitterness, med-light sweetness. Half-way tolerable, but only barely so.

Tap at the brewery. Med-thin body, medium carbonation. Medium bitterness, long dry lingering finish. Med-light sweetness. Med-light waxy honey flavour, light diacetyl. Light caramelly maltiness, hops in the background. Not great, not terrible, at least it's drinkable, which can't be said about some other beers here.

Tap at the brewery. Thin body, medium carbonation. Med-light bitterness, light sweetness. Med-light diacetyl and corn, light grainy astringency. Subtle grassy herbal hops character. Better than the helles, but only marginally so.

Tap at the brewery. Shitloads of diacetyl and solid corny DMS. Also some unnatural candyish carameliness. Not much else to be said here. Thin body, watery, med-low carbonation. Honestly ungood.
