Bottle bought at the Anglian Ale Company stall at Bury St E's Wednesday market. Aroma has light citrus, spice and yeast. Opaque amber. Thick fluffy foamy white head. Light bitter. Sour tang. Grainy. Spice. Soda. Light bodied. Thin. Fizzy carbonation. Long dry finish. Nice enough without doing much for me.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a deep brown black with a beige color head. Aroma is rich malts, very robust. Taste is rich malty, some sweet toffee, finishes a bit dry.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a deep brown almost black with orange edges, head was tan. Aroma is caramel, roasted malts, toffee. Taste is roasted malts, caramel, coffee grounds, rich finish.

7/8/2021. Bottle bought at the brewery gate. Pours clear pale amber with a frothy white head. Super aroma, warming Christmas spice, cinnamon, biscuit, fruit cake, berries, malt, touch of yeast. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Very nicely done, just lacked a bit of body.

7/8/2021. Bottle bought at the brewery gate. Pours very dark mahogany brown with a large frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma of light roasted malt, fruit, berries, light caramel and coffee, touch of veg. Medium sweetness and light roasted bitterness. Moderate body, slight watery texture, foamy carbonation. Very mild on the caramel for whatโs labelled a caramel stout.

Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Nice bit of bitterness to finish. Very enjoyable, best so far from the selection box I bought.
