Description
There's a method in Mr Winter's madness. From the brew to the bottle, we carefully consider every element of our range to give you a taste of the unexpected.

With IPAs, golden ales and stouts in our range, we have a beer for every palate. From light and fruity, to dark and nutty, each one combines high-quality hops with barely, water and yeast to create a unique, full-bodied flavour.

Started in September 2001 by Dave Winter, as Winter’s Brewery. In early 2020, the brewery changed it's branding to the current MrWinter’s.

Half on gravity. Slightly unclear amber. Aroma of sweet fruit. Flavour of malt and apricot come through after a while. Refreshing, but watery. Alright, but maybe a bit out of balance (The Fat Cat, Norwich 25.09.2006).

[Cask at GBBF 2004] An amber beer with a fine bubbly white head. The aroma is sweet hoppy, while the flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and alcohol - but somehow the body is thin inspite of the alcohol presence.

[Cask at Volunteers Arms, GBBF, 2004] A dark amber beer with a beutiful off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of roasted bread. The flavor is sour because of the low alcohol content - with a weird roasted note - is it a hop sort I can’t sort out? The end is dry end the body is thin.
