Anders Kissmeyer is a much larger name in the rest of the world than he is in his own country. This will be reflected in a number of collaboration brews. Beers he brews in collaboration with his large network of friends among the best international brewmasters. To fully unfold our ambitions, we have chosen to present all of the KISSMEYER beers in a number of distinct portfolios, each with a conceptual idea of it’s own.
'Kissmeyer Beer and Brewing’ is my company, launched in 2010 after I ended my 10 year carreer with Nørrebro Bryghus. Longue description The company spans over three main areas of business - ’Kissmeyer Beer’ is my beer brand offering my own and collaborative beers at home and abroad. ’Kissmeyer Brewing’ is my consultancy business offering services related mainly to the brewing industry. Finally, under the collective name ’Kissmeyer Beer & Brewing’ I offer a wide range of communication services incl. beer tastings and presentations

Pours dark copper with a large, lasting head.Nose shows nutty malt, caramel, golden syrup, soft spicy hops and brown sugar. Pretty rich and moreish.Similar rich flavours, lots of nutty malt and caramel followed by spicy hops and an assertive bitterness.Body seems a bit thick, and there’s not enough carbonation. Not too much of a hop presence, but enjoyable nonetheless.

0.5l bottle @ Patricks, Kristiansand. A blurry dark copper-ish beer with a big and lasting off-white head. Nice lacing on this. On the aroma this one has candy tones, fruity hops, caramel and it's quite fresh and almost zesty as well. A bit thin - almost watery texture and the carbonation level is comfortably average to soft. Nice flavors, perhaps a tad sweet and it's really fruity! Hints of fruity citrus plants all the way. I would describe it as very easy to drink little of, but not great to drink a whole lot of. Really low bitterness all the way, and perhaps not utterly exciting, but I found it quite tasty. Just what I needed now. 30.03.2012

Bottle. Copper with a large beige head. Gentle aroma is bready with light toffee, blackberries, grapefruit. Sweet with caramel, berries, pears. Dryish at the end with a little bitterness. Would have guessed this a 5.5% ESB, but it’s tasty enough.

Bottle shared at John’s house. Pours dark amber with off white head. Nose/taste of mostly pomegranate with fruity syrups, yeast, coriander and hints of orange peel. Syrupy mouth feel. Lightish body.
