They brewed on their own 20BBL plant, located in Poole In Wharfedale, Otley, in April 2010.
The brewery closed in Spring 2015 with production shifting to becoming contract brewed at Hambleton in 2016.
Beers sold under the Firestorm name "are what happens when Brewer Steve plays.".

Cask, 4.1%. Almost clear amber colour. The flavour is malty and slightly old-tasting. Even has the tiniest hint of butter. Not as bad as it sounds, though.

Cask gravity at Planet Thanet BF 2011. Clear gold orange colour with thin off white head. Diacetyl all the way through it. More or less undrinkable

Cask at Bow Bar ... deep brown ... thin tan head ... Big Chocolate roast ... light odd chocolate ... roast malt nose ... ligth roast ... sweet malts ... ligth chocolate ... not best chocolate flavour but nice.

Cask, 5.1%. Weak perfumy aroma. Almost clear dark golden colour. Tastes a little vinegary. Not too bad, though.

Cask, 4.0%. Black colour. Good roasted flavour. Some fruit. Good balance. Late coffee roastedness.

Cask conditioned at The Quakerhouse, Darlington. ABV is 4.4%. Copper coloured beer, creamy off-white head. Malty aroma and flavour, hints of toffee and wood, fairly dry. Moderate hops in the finish. Smooth mouthfeel.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 15/02/2011. Deep amber with a slight, off-white head. Sweet, orange and toffee aroma. Flavour had plenty of caramel red fruits and a moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Gravity cask at the Pig’s Ear BF 2010. Pours light amber with no head. Aroma holds nuts, malts, and some mild fruits. Flavor is average, with caramel and light malts, then some modest bitterness. Light to medium in body with faint carbonation. A touch syrupy. Normal malt finish with some nuts, light dryness and faint, fruity hops. Nice beer overall, quite drinkable.
