Keg @ Cuthbert Brodrick, Leeds. Yellow-gold with a carbonation and a thin head. Hop-malt balanced, with a hoppy-sweetness its dominant feature. It’s crisp with some citrus evident and a slightly dirty aroma.

Cask handpull at the crosse keys. Mid copper coloured pour with a small halo of off white head. Aroma is sweet toffee, hint of browned sugar, berries, hint of pine hop. Flavour is composed of sweet rounded Malts, nutty and raisin malts, toffee, fruity berries, some burnt sugars. Palate is sweet and little sticky, lowish carbonation. Lingering toffee and grainy tannins. Pretty enjoyable, if a little sweet.

Bottle. This is quite your standard, CDA. Classic grassy-citrusy hoppy aroma and flavour. Pretty intense taste particularly. High bitterness and the signature CDA character that all these beers have. Quite good.
