Can (thanks to the Lake of Constance!): Clear, light amber coloured, stable small white head, mineralic-metallic nose with some fruity malt underneath; light sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied to watery; short and thin malty-fruity finish with a discreet bitterness. Not a really necessary brew...

Golden, clear, pillowy white head, good lacing
Aroma of soft sweet caramel malts
Taste - Caramel malts, light bitter hops, touch of soft fruits, not a lot going on here for 5%, easy drinking though, nice soft mellow toffee caramel malt
Palate - Medium body, sweetish malt palate. Finish - fairly bitter, cleans off palate quite well
Overall - Solid, workmanlike, drinkable, easy going, fairly bland for a 5% beer, but it was still quite nice

Rich honey and toffee nose. Hazy amber, fine floaties, medium head with poor retention. Toffee on the front, more of a sweet grassy hay on the back. Obvious quality British malts. I found this bottle in my car. How it got there is a bit of a mystery to me. It must have been there for months. I expected this to be awful, but I thoroughly enjoed it. Excellent!
