Clear pale golden colour, frothy white head. Aroma bread, hay, grassy hops, citrus notes. Taste medium sweet, slightly bitter, touch of sourness. Light to medium body, average carbonation, dry and smooth light bitter finish.

Das Calanda ist ein Bier, das man in der Schweiz an jeder Ecke trifft. Es entspricht etwa dem österreichischen Gösser, dem deutschen Krombacher oder dem tschechischen Staropramen. Geschmacklich mag es mich nicht ganz zu überzeugen; das Bier ist zwar voll auf Mainstream getrimmt, aber irgendwie schafft es nicht, jene Erfrischung zu erzeugen, die vergleichbare Industriebiere haben. Es ist eigentlich einfach langweilig.
