Tap at the Brouwcafe, Scheveningen. Poured a hazy chesnut brown with a frothy white head. The aroma is smoky with a little band aid. I could have sworn I smelled some fish too, but hey, this IS Scheveningen :-) The flavour is weak bitter, with some smoke, loads of peat and a little resin and liqourice on the complex palate. A very drinkable beer!

Rather like a ’Speciale Belge’. Amber colour. Quite thin, light body. Sweet malts dominate.

Tap @ Drie Dorstige Herten. Hazy dark golden colour, off-white head. Nose is light malted, biscuit, slightly grassy. Flavour is light malted, again some dry biscuit, slightly hoppy. Medium bitterness. Finish is slightly dry.

Tap @ Drie Dorstige Herten. Slight hazy amber color (I expected a bit darker), short off-white head. Aroma is grainy, some cookie, hint of caramel and hint of grassy hop. It really has a German feel to it in some way. Taste is refreshing, soft bitterness, hint of grain and cookie sweetness. I liked it.

On tap at PINT Meibockfestival ’13. Pretty sure this is the same as Pelgrim Provenier Dubbellam. Hazy orange/amber colour, white head. Aroma is quite sweet, young, ripe fruits, floral, yeasty, hint of plastic, honey. Flavour is medium-sweet, light malty, honey, yeasty, fruity, bitter yeasty and hoppy finish, almost nutty. Light to medium-bodied.
