Description
Amazing beers, plenty of creativity and a good portion of urban zest for life: these are the most important ingredients for our success. As Vienna’s oldest brewery, we have been known for having the highest quality and an extraordinary diversity of flavour for over 180 years. Our brewery resides in the heart of Vienna and has developed into a pulsating event location in accordance with our cosmopolitan flair. Here, in the heart of Ottakring, culinary and culture blend into a unique, delicious mixture.

The Ottakringer Brewery is the last remaining large Viennese brewery, and also one of the last large, independent breweries in Austria. This independence is extremely important to us as a family-run company. Our approximately 150 employees do everything in their power to keep it that way. The most important keys to our success are high-quality products, a wide variety of beers and our hunger for life, which has become our trademark.

Tap at Bermuda Brau, Vienna. Pours clear auburn with a fluffy white head. Lightly toasted malt nose with subtle caramel. Nice enough flavor, some toasty bread and good caramel. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Mild sweet finish with toasty caramel, dark sugar and slight dark fruits. Decent.

500ml Bottle (Thanks Sanjit and Julia) - Golden with a small white head. Grain, lemon and malt feature in the aroma. Malty and moderately bitter taste with notes of corn and a hint of sweetness in the finish.

Bottle, smallish head, light clear golden colour, hrebal and biscuity malt aroma, flavour of honey with mellow herbal bitterness and an emapthic lemony sournss. fresh and extremely drinkable, quite lovely.

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, cereal. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, bread, cereal, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120219]

Two times: 500ml bottle from wiennashop.at. Price was 2,65 Eur (10.11.2010) and 330ml bottle from Auchan. No w obu przypadkach fajna i trwala sniuezno biala pianka, zlociste i klarowne lekko chmielne, malo slodowe, prawie jak pils. Dobra pozycja dolnofermentacyjna.

Bottle. A clear one, golden in color and topped by a small, dense, white head. Bready, grainy and lightly fruity aroma. The flavor has a nice bitterness, with grains and generic fruityness as well. Medium to thin on the palate. Mostly bitter in the finish. A decent one, but I can’t see myself drinking it again. 120219
