Description
When the young Viennese banker Franz Schaup started brewing beer in 1858, he did not expect his small brewery to develop into one of the most successful breweries in Austria over the years.

In the meantime, the Zipf brewery near the Attersee has a proud 13 beers and 3 types of hops, the refreshment with hop lemonade for adults, to their range. A total of 170 employees work directly at the location in Zipf. They are the ones who ensure that everything runs smoothly every day and are responsible for a large part of the success of the Zipfer brand.

Despite the numerous technical innovations and a merger with Brau Union Österreich AG in 1970, the careful use of resources and brewing with natural hops were always in the foreground.

Bottle. Pours hazy orange with, thick white head. Surprisingly vivid hops, mainly grassy-piney notes in aroma and taste. Light bodied and lively carbonated. Could be better if the hop profile wouldn’t be so harsh. Still fairly drinkable tho.

03 2024 Aromat słodowy i opiekany Biała piana klarowne złociste Nagazowanie duże, lekko średnie, , kremowe. Smak słodowy ale finisz wytrawny Choć nie jestem fanem marcowego piwa to mi smakuje, nie jest to całkiem podobne do koncernowych lagerow, czuć lepszy smak i goryczkę

It is a classical weiss but nothing special, lack of good ingredients, wheat, banana touch, watery, so-so, 04.08.2016, drinking it in my hotel room in Paris, buying it there.

hazy yellow pour, with little to no head. Lots of yeast in the aroma along with lots of citrus, especially lemon. Flavour is very much all lemon to my tastes, its like a lemon lifesaver. Its interesting, not 100% unpleasant, but i’m not tasting any "alpine herbs".

its got the typical aroma of yeast, banana, and cloves, but its weak. I gently shook one bottle to move around the sediment and yeast in the bottom and let it sit and drank it the next day, and it was a bit more lively the flavours were a bit more pronounced, but still its a weak hefe.
