Hazy, vibrant pale colour. Medium head. The aroma is dank and has that sulphury allium character as well. There’s a fair bit of bitterness here. The allium hops are most prominent on the palate, with a bit of pine in there as well. The pale malts are clean, sweet and balanced.

Bright, deep gold. Medium head. Quite attractive. The nose brings a fairly full pale malt character, bready but maybe a touch appley as well. On the palate, I don’t get that appley stuff, just bready malts. Gentle bitterness, just enough for balance. This does come across as a fairly typical helles you’d get in Bavaria. Not the best ones, but a good one.

It’s a vibrant magenta colour with a bit of haze. I’m really liking that bright, natural blueberry aroma. Lightly tart, with bursting fruit, this is refreshing, and moves past the standard fruit sour. I’m a fan.

Re-rate (re-release): poured from the tap. Near clear golden blonde with small white head. Hay, biscuit malt, grass hops (seems to be more pronounced from what I remember last time). Aug 23, 2021 (6/3/6/3/11=2.9): Poured from the tap. Slightly hazy bright gold with small white head. Mild corn, some hay, quite feint grass hops.

Poured from the tap. Medium purple-ish red with minimal white head. The kviek comes through most dominant here with a subtle blueberry underlay. Hopefully you like kviek yeast… post rating note: as it warms up, the blueberry comes out a little more, but still fairly timid.

Re-rate: Poured from the tap (Had to give it a second chance after the terrible can). Hazy gold with small white head. Dank, tropical hops, touch of butter. Redeemable, but still average. First rate (Aug 13, 2021 - 2/3/2/1/4=1.2): Poured from 355mL can (pkg July 14, 2021). Quite hazy gold with full white head. I am going to have to try this on tap and hopefully it hasn't gone rancid (wish I didn't sit on this for a month). This has gone completely rancid despite being kept in the refridgerator the entire time. This is one of the worst cases of diacytyl I've ever tasted... Butter bomb through and through. Complete drain pour.

Re-rate: Poured from 355mL can (pkg June 09, 2021). Hazy gold with white head. Aroma of coffee beans that have a sour coffee profile. Taste of herbal citrus hops and coffee that does not work well with each other. First rate (June 27, 2021) - 7/3/5/3/11=2.9 Poured from the tap. Hazy gold with small white head. Aroma full of coffee beans. Taste of light hops and feint coffee. Not very cohesive.

Re-rate: Poured from 355mL can (pkg May 28, 2021). Clear-ish gold with full white head. A fair bit of spicy Belgian yeast, mild alcohol finish. I think the 2 months of aging actually helped this beer. First rate (June 27, 2021) - 7/3/7/3/13=3.3 Poured from the tap. Clear gold with small white head. Banana and some clean wheat, mild spice.

Re-rate: Poured from 355mL can. Hazy gold with full white head. Light coriander, mild wheat, but a bit biscuity, with some banana esters. Okay. First Rate (June 27, 2021) - 6/3/6/3/12=3.0 Poured from the tap. Hazy gold with small white head. Light Belgian wheat malt, feint grain, fairly clean finish. Not much depth.

Poured from 355mL can (pkg June 30, 2021). Hazy blonde with white head. Light bread malt, mild floral citrus hops, touch of dankness. Prefer other Rolodex hop variations.
